GRF Sundance

(page under construction)
GRF Sundance was foaled in April 2002. He is a full bred Cleveland stallion, one of the very few standing in North America.
Cleveland bays are a rare breed and are one of the original English bred horses in the 17th century.
The stud books were finally created in 1880 with the Cleveland Bay Society of Great Britain where they began tracking bloodlines.
In the 19th century the breeders started crossing the purebreds on thoroughbred mares to make very compatible sport horses that have proven their ability in many different disciplines.
GRF Sundance was started under saddle in 2005 and prepared by LaNet Hester of Spindle Top Farm for his stallion approval.
He was approved November of 2005 for full and part bred mares with the Cleveland Bay Horse Society of North America.
He stands 172cm (16.3+h) with 9 1/4" cannon bone.
Sundance offers a very strong and powerful shoulder, well set neck and powerful hindquarters as desired by the Cleveland Bay breeding standards.
Sundance offers super temperament and is a joy to handle.
His sire is Braithwaite Senator and his dam is Holmside Snow Rose.
